 Our purpose in supporting the families enrolled in our program is to empower them to accomplish their dreams. Although, a majority of the families reside within the community we have been subjected to “redlining” and are not particularly aware of its effects but are products of the impact.

  June of 2022, we spearheaded an Autism Support group in the West and Germantown areas. Many parents are coming into the programs with little knowledge of some developmental delays and disabilities. My goal is to educate and empower them to become strong advocates for their children. There are few programs in the West Philadelphia area which caters to children from birth to three years old. Parents without the knowledge of potential concerns or resources miss extremely important time frames not having their child screened for services. Once again in barren areas there is a lack of services and where there is lack of knowledge the people will perish. 

We have weekly nutritional classes sponsored by Einstein Hostipal, Spanish Class, Yoga, and STEAM classes.  Trauma-responsive social and emotional learning becoming more conscious of their reactions to conflict, learning ways to stay in control of ourselves. Conscious Discipline offers solutions for social -emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation. We also have monthly parent meetings, annual cookouts, quarterly parent-teachers conferences.
